Dog-Gone Fun introduces a NEW training program that is flexible for the modern family lifestyle. Group training classes are designed so that you and your dog can work at your own pace. Classes are divided into 4 skill levels. The same skill level class is offered up to 3 times a week to accommodate your busy schedule. You are welcome to attend class as often as you want at your skill level and below. Tuition is sold in blocks of time.
Gold Membership 24 weeks of unlimited attendance in our levels obedience classes.
Plus 10% off an introductory dog sport class – Beginning Agility, Intro to Nose Work, Intro to Dog Sports. Includes CGC Prep and Out & About Classes.
With regular attendance and practice at home most dogs will be fluent through level 3 and be able to use those skills in a public setting. This also may depend on the age and background of your dog.
Silver Membership 16 weeks of unlimited training in levels obedience classes

Bronze Membership 8 weeks of unlimited attendance in levels obedience classes.
With regular attendance and practice at home, most dogs will be fluent through level 2 by the end of the 8 week period.
Orientation. All handlers begin the levels program with a mandatory orientation session. This session is held without dogs and is offered every 2 weeks to insure you can start your membership as soon as possible. Memberships are limited. Required: payment and the registration form before the start of the orientation session.

Level 0 Puppies! This level is for puppies between the ages of 8-20 weeks with appropriate vaccine history. This level will focus on typical puppy behaviors. Topics discussed potty training, biting, chewing, crate training etc. Emphasis will be on socialization, proper play and focus work.

Level 1 Introduction and Foundation Skills. Dogs need to be five months or older. Focus work and introduction of the common obedience commands of sit, down, loose leash walking, name recognition. Common behavior issues will be touched upon such as chewing, barking jumping etc.

Level 2 Building upon obedience commands of sit, down and come. Begin the impulse control exercises of the stay, leave it and proper human greetings. We introduce the three d’s of training, distance, distraction and duration.

Level 3 In level three continue to hone in and perfect all the skills learned so far. Continue to build heeling patterns and add more distractions from everyday life. The Canine Good Citizen test is introduced.

Canine Good Citizen Prep
The AKC Canine Good Citizen Test is designed to recognize owners who have demonstrated responsible ownership and training of their canine companion for good manners. This prep class introduces the 10 exercises that make up the Canine Good Citizen Test and gives ample time to practice them. The formal test will be offered after the completion of the class. This class is best suited for dogs that can already perform the basic obedience skills and are comfortable in the presence of unfamiliar people and dogs.
Out and About
After doing all your homework in obedience classes, it is time to take it on the road. All the skills learned in the 0 – 3 levels classes will be practiced in real life situations. We learn proper public etiquette as well as skills to handle unexpected situations. Class runs for 4 weeks and each week is held in a different outside public location.

Intro to Dog Sports
So your dog needs a job! It is hard to know what you and your dog would like unless you try it. Our 4 week Intro to Dog Sports Class exposes you and your dog to the world of Dog competition.
Class #1 Foundation/tricks class to get you rolling and introduce some teaching skills.
Class #2 Agility. Learn a bit about the sport and introduce your dog to some of the standard agility equipment.
Class#3 Flyball. A team sport for dogs who love tennis balls. This sport is high energy and loads of fun!
Class# 4 K9 Nose Work. A new dog sport! Discover how much fun scent work can be for your dog and wear him out! Great for shy or fearful dogs.
Each class lasts one hour and is taught at our Dog-Gone Fun Training Facility. Each class is taught by experienced instructors that actively teach and compete in their sport.
