Have you spotted us out and about?

Dog-Gone Fun was at the Triad Dog Games June 7-8 at Reynolda Village in Winston-Salem. Demos of Agility and K9 Nose Work done by Dog-Gone Fun students. Also agility competitions were held. Great crowds, great fun !

Canine Capers held May 17 at Oak Ridge Park, Oak Ridge was a fun venue for Dog-Gone Fun to meet pets and their owners. Dog-Gone Fun dogs’ demonstrated Agility and K9 Nose Work.

Pitbulls and Parolees (air date 12/7/13)
Animal Planet filmed a segment for Pitbulls and Parolees at Dog-Gone Fun to air in December. Jan Wilson, CPDT, was glad to assist the TV show with some training demos on the agility field.

2nd Annual Canine Challenge – AKC Responsible Dog Owners Day September 27
Dog-Gone Fun will participate at the 2nd Annual Canine Challenge Day September 27 at Miller Park in Winston-Salem, NC  with agility and K9 Nose Work® demos to some new furry friends and their companions.

Upcoming Competition
Agility: Dog-Gone Fun agility class dogs will soon be competing at several trials this Summer and Fall in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida.

K9 Nose Work®: Dog-Gone Fun is hosting an Odor Recognition Test on November 23 in Winston-Salem. Dogs will be tested on birch, anise and clove. Dog-Gone Fun is co-hosting two days of K9 Nose Work Competition on December 6 and 7 in Clemmons, North Carolina.

Dogs will be traveling to Virginia, Maryland and Georgia this Fall to compete in  K9 Nose Work® Trials sponsored by NACSW (National Association of Canine Scent Work ). Dogs will compete in four searches: containers, interior room, exterior area and vehicles.

Past Performances

Congratulations to the new NW1 dogs Finley with Lisa Busko,  Storm with Cheri Moore, Nancy Osborne with Bayleigh, Ed with Jessica Scheurman, and Truman with Lori Worley. Also Congrats to Cheri Moore and Breeze titling at the NW2 level !

Agility Kudos : Dog-Gone Fun dogs competed at a Canine Performance Event in Mebane, NC August 23-24. Also several teams competed in an AKC Agility Trial in Concord, NC August 11 and the 2013 CPE Nationals in June.

Lucky and Robin Sowell in Fullhouse Level 1 earned a qualifying score and 4th place.

Razzle and Mary Rizzolo earned 5/5 qualifying scores. Mary and Razzle competed at CPE 2013 Nationals in June.

Kodi and Debbie Crews in Jackpot earned a qualifying score and placed 2nd. Kodi also finished her AKC Novice Agility title August 11 in Concord, NC !!!

Bella and Robin Foster finished her AKC OAJ title in Concord, NC. Bella placed 1st in AKC Excellent Jumpers and earned a qualifying score.  Bella competed at the 2013 CPE Nationals in June placing 3rd in Jumpers and 2nd place in Colors !!!!

K9 Nose Work®: Traveled to South Carolina to compete in a K9 Nose Work® Trial sponsored by the NACSW (National Association of Canine Scent Work ). Dogs competed in four searches: containers, interior room, exterior area and vehicles. Four dogs attended and two titled in this
new sport.
